Step 1: Attach supporting documents

This section provides information on the steps required and the documents needed when you submit a claim to PT. Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia when you lodge claims in the specific area of travel insurance.

III. Accidental Death and Permanent Total Disablement

  • Letter of Heirs

IV. Baggage and Personal Effects

  • Property Irregularity report
  • Police report
  • List of missing/damaged items with type and specification

V. Baggage Delay

VI. Money & Travel Documents

  • Police report detailing the circumstances and missing items
  • Original payment receipt to replace documents
  • Credit Card billing detailing unauthorized transaction

VII. Loss of Deposits and Cancellation Charges

  • Travel agency Term and Condition documents
  • Letter from Travel Agent confirming the Insured’s absence and refund amount
  • Original Invoice of Full Amount Paid
  • Medical report
  • Death Certificate
  • Proof of relationship
  • Original receipt for the postponement charges

IX. Travel Delay

  • Written confirmation from Airline confirming the original arrival time, actual arrival time and reason for delay
  • Actual Departure time of the connecting flight
  • Boarding Passes of the affected section (Missed connection)

X. Hijack

  • Written confirmation from the Airline confirming the original departure time and actual departure time due to hijack.
  • Written confirmation from the authorities regarding hijacking

XI. Overbooked Flight

  • Written confirmation from the Airline confirming the cause of overbooking and alternative solution
  • Original receipt for expenses incurred

XII. Personal Liability

  • Police report
  • Incident report issued by authority
  • List of demands

XIII. Loss of Use of Hotel Facilities

  • Witten confirmation from the Hotel confirming the reason of withdrawal of service and how long it happen

XIV. Home Protection

  • Police report detailing the circumstances
  • List of missing/damaged items with type and specification
  • Original receipt

XV. Alternative Employees Expenses

  • Police report detailing the incident of original employee
  • Doctor’s Diagnosis Note of original employee
  • Billing statement of the expenses of substitute employee.
